Dr. Vincent B. Turosky
Dr. Vincent Turosky has been in the field of Chiropractic and Natural Health Care for the past 30 years. His expertise is in balancing the physical, chemical and emotional aspects of the human body toward optimal functioning. In private practice with his brother at Turosky Natural Healing Centre in Edwardsville, PA, Dr. Turosky has successfully integrated ancient and modern healing techniques by offering unique advanced holistic natural Healthcare alternatives for the prevention and treatment of dis-ease.
Dr. Turosky obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree as a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 1985 and Pre Med undergraduate with high honors Dean’s List from Wilkes University in PA.
Two outstanding Clinical Academic Achievement scholarships were awarded Dr. Vincent Turosky at Western States, and received the Schub Scholarship for excellence in biological sciences as well as the Ken Pollock Scholarship for high academic achievements to attend Wilkes University.
Dr. Turosky received Post- Doctoral degrees from the Toftness School of Chiropractic in 1985, Certified Sports Specific Performance Enhancement Specialist in 1998, and most recently became a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carriers Department of Transportation.
Dr. Turosky accomplished additional continuing education training in: advanced Applied Kinesiology, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Herbalogy, Ayurveda medicine, pediatric health, muscle balancing, craniopathy, holistic medicine, mind/body medicine, vitamin counseling, physical medicine rehabilitation and clinical nutrition. Has authored articles on Chiropractic healthcare in several local newspapers, instructed classes in spinal healthcare, injury prevention and nutrition for disease reversal for industry and general public.
Specializing in Advanced Applied Kinesiology, Clinical Nutrition/Wellness Care, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Emotional Counseling, Dr. Turosky has successfully treated cases of cervical/lumbar disc herniation’s, low back and neck pain, muscle dysfunctions, carpal tunnel, headaches, TMJ, scoliosis, tendonitis, bursitis and sports injuries. Has experience in allergy control, nutritional requirements, pediatric health, arthritis management, neuro-muscular disorders, fibromyalgia, orthotic requirements, vertigo and emotional based physical disorders.
Dr. Vincent Turosky maintains his professional affiliations in good standing with the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, the East Coast Independent Physicians Association, the American Chiropractic Association, the Chiropractic Association of Oregon, and is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania and Oregon to practice Chiropractic.
Prior to starting his professional degree, Dr. Turosky minored in music in performance concert piano at Wilkes under the instruction of Ann Liva for 18 years, and performed saxophone with the wind and jazz ensembles for 12 years.
Dr. Turosky lives in Laurel Run, PA with his wife, Marianne, who is a physical therapist in private practice at Northeast Physical Therapy in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Their son Adam, is currently a student at James Madison University in Virginia.
Dr. John H. Turosky
Dr. John H. Turosky graduated Northwest Area High school in 1976. He then attended Bloomsburg State College achieving the required pre-chiropractic courses from Chiropractic College through 1978. Dr. Turosky graduated from Palmer college of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iow in 1982 Magna Cum Lauda and a member of the Pi Tau Delta Honor Fraternity.
Dr. Turosky has a licence to practice chiropractic in Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Turosky has been practicing chiropractic in Edwardsville PA. for over 32 years. He has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses which include, Physiologic therapeutics, sports injuries, acupuncture, sacro occipital technique, clinical nutrition, physical rehabilitation, and applied kinesiology. Specializing in applied kinesiology Dr. Turosky looks to treat patients holistically by utilizing muscle response testing to determine specific physical, chemical and mental/emotional (stress) needs.
He resides in Plymouth PA. with his wife and two children.
